BIO

Alyssa Bossenger is a PhD candidate in Communication and Culture and Gender Studies at Indiana University. She studies how young people learn about sex, particularly in relation to media. She is interested in questions of gender, technology, sexuality, adolescence, queer theory, and learning as a social process. She is a passionate educator and has been teaching about gender, communication, and media at the collegiate level since 2012.
